| CBT Automail was developed for Circuit
Based Training to respond to customer information requests.
Circuit based training are a motorcycle training school based at
Mallory Park race circuit.
They offer various courses and provide literature for each. Customers
can request information via the web site, and the brief was to provide
a solutions that would integrate with Microsoft Outlook 2000 to
pick up all email requests for information.
The solution picks up the information request emails from Outlook
and ascertains which information is required by the customer.
The customer may request information on multiple courses at one
time.
Upon receiving a request the software checks if the customer exists
in the CBT Customer Database, and adds them if required.
An email is then created with the required information attched and
automatically sent to the customer.
The CBT Customer database is then updated to indicate when and what
information has been sent.
The application can be configured to send out reminders at specified
intervals. there is also a 'Bulk Mail' facility that allows email
mailshots to be sent out.
